1st Post here
Just wanted to say Hi. This is my first post here on this forum.Iam not a stranger to them I also belong to the ZRXOA which is a motorcycle forum.
Iam picking up my second RX-7 on the 29th of May.I got they RX bug back in 84 when I met my Dad for the first time and he owned a 82.I thought it was bas *** back then with the rotory engine.I remember him reving the crap out of it and I thought that was cool.Well in 1993 I bought an 85 gsl se.It had about 90,000 miles on the clock.I really liked that car.I sold it to get a bigger car for my soon to be wife at the time. When I bought my RX-7 my father in law saw it and had to have one so he bought a white 84 gsl.It had only 45,000 miles on the clock.Well he just now bought a new car so I ask him if he would sell me his RX.He said yes.It now has 68,000 easy miles on the clock and he is selling it to me for the favorite son in law price of 1500 bucks.I cant wait.I live in the Seattle area and he lives in Spokane.I get to fly over on the 29th and drive it back.I plan on at this time of keeping it completly stock.I would like to rid it of its emisson crap and the catalytic converter.Well thats it.

Welcome to the most obsessed group in the known universe. I wanted a RX-7 when I was in high school, but since they were still new at the time, I couldn't afford one. After enough time went by, I had all but forgot about the little car of my youthful dreams. That is, until a freind with an impound lot offered me the one I have now, at a killer great price. In an instant, I remembered how I longed for one back when, so I jumped on the deal. Once bitten, you are hooked for life.

its definatly a disease!! every time i drive mine, i really think there is no other car like it on the road today. its a different ride and feel. its also a great feeling knowing that not everyone has one. all too often when i am behind the wheel of a 7, my heart is beating rotary style and i feel one with the car. you will find with a low miles example that the experience is all that much more rewarding! welcome to the club friend.
