Just wanted to share my first time show 1st place trophy in sports car class at car show yesterday. I dont show to win or care about the trophies just to show the uniqueness of the car and the rotary engine.

Just installed full RB exhaust and it has lowered springs and heavier anti sway bar in back. Pretty much stock other than that. Thanks

Over the weekend, I had my FB at a car show.
I did not win anything... I was very dissapointed on how the whole thing went. Most judges were teeneagers. My car was Judged within 10 seconds. My category.... Mazda... it did'nt matter the year or model.

 

damn youre car is sexy.. and you didnt win anything.. that is bs... i hate damn teenage kids..

 

Before I rant, the exterior looks good.

Now, who the heck was judging? who was the competition? do you open the hood?

the engine bay if filthy, are you kidding me.

clean the engine bay, polish all the painted surfaces, replace all rubber hoses, wires etc, install all new brass (oem) fittings...

take some time and go visit ssglopezvm, study from a true artist.

This was low key voting and its not all about the thousands of dollars the rich bastards have to spend to buy there trophies. This is about having a great car and being proud to show whatever I got and that this is a rare car around here and its driven nearly everyday and thats what I stated in my original post.

Nice looking ride man! However, I have to agree with some of the others concerning the condition of your engine bay....

Not that my car is great or anything, but here is a link to a thread that I posted on the cleaning of the engine bay. Takes a little time, but makes a heck of a difference when you can be as proud of your car with the hood up as you are with it down... Now, get to work!
