1st gen and TurboII eng

Guys my engine project is completed, its still on breakinn period, it gave 275hp at the wheels with 10 pounds of boost. Later on we will increase the boost and refresh the comp program for better performance. We are looking for 350hp at 15psi of boost.

ok heres a question how much power can a stock 1st gen rear end can handle before braking? I have a GSL rear and I am thinking of putting a turbo motor in the car shooting for about 300 hp not more than that if I am going to do it I will buy the REspeed 5 lug axles for it you think the LSD can handle that cind of power. Sorry for being a little off topic.

P.S. Nice car.

Been putting 300 crank HP into my rearend for about 6 years and almost 50K miles now, daily driven.......no problems yet, just dont treat it like you trying to break it.If your rough with the clutch, the stock 100HP can break the rearend.

I am using right now the pumking of a Kia sportage which is 477 ratio. Not that good for highway use because at 70mph rpm is about 3500 which is a bit high. I am plannig on the future a Ford 9inch rear end with sld and 410 ratio..

The turbo is a Turbonetics t70 and ems is Microtech LT8s. Bosh fuel pump, aeromotive fuel press regulator. 550cc injectors on low and 1,100 on high. Fuel braided lines, waste gate is turbonetics and HKS blowoff. Engine has been streetported, with 3windows lubrication, and pinned. The car used to have a 12A bridgeported and it was fast but now is something different now is really fast I never could imagine a car could be this fast...

Any chance you could film a video of yur car? Theres always people saying how crazy fast these cars are with 350-400 hp but Directfreak is usually the only one who's videos actually deliever a feel of what it's like to be in the car.
