FISRT OF ALL SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING ERROR(WAS A INSIDE JOKE) . STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED ALONG WITH OVER THE PHONE HELP. THIS KIT WOULD BE A MAJOR UPGRADE FOR ANY 12A. AS FOR POWER, OUR SHOP CAR IS RUNNING 12.3 AT 116MPH WITH OUR PROTOTYPE KIT.
I wish these places that do these turbo set-ups would put out photo's/prices of ALL THE PIECES of the conversion they sell before they put a half-assed site that shows nothing worth looking at or NO FIRMLY posted prices before they start advertising the website. No one likes that, a setup adveritised without firm posted prices/pictures.... There is a few out there like this that I wouldn't buy unless they showed every detail so I don't waste time over the phone to find out its not in my price range.
Sounds great, but as you can see, a website is as important for getting business from a forum as a clean shop is for getting customers off of the street.
Sight unseen, I don't expect you to get much business, but if what you're saying is true, you deserve to.

Of anything I'm aware of, its that the internet if full of skeptics..... it takes a good site, time, and good word of mouth to wrestle up a customer base. Helping your customers become informed of the details of your product is the proven way to get customers.
One member of our forum asked what was in the kit, specifically listing a good number of the things that most would consider part of a comprehensive "kit". You answered "EVERTHING", which is great, I hope your everthing and my everthing are equal. A great deal more often then not is too good of deal to be true.
Your site and demeanor in your communications need to inspire confidence. Many, especially a bunch of cheap-skates (ie most of us here), need to feel 100% confident about something that expensive before we would even consider throwing a dime at it. The Character of a buisness is very important IMO, in determining wheter or not to do my buisiness with someone.
I believe there is interest in a kit, as there are many that don't have the time, money, or understanding to piece together a turbo system. At the same time, I think you need to do three things:
1. Get some good pictures of the setup, done or not.
2. Explain everthing that is shown in the kit, and explain those things that are still in development. Give a date when the kit will be available. Show prices - I, for one, will not even consider a company that doesn't post a price unless I absolutely need the part, and their the only ones that have them.
3. Get all of the above on a clean well laid-out site

I'm the boss-man, need the info....

We understand completely, everything will come in time.
Before we would even think of selling this kit to anyone, we will have a complete list of parts included in this kit and enough pictures to satisfy everyone on this forum.
thanks...jason@flawless motors

So is that 12.3 on stock ports?
Wheres the pics...no pics...
Ok, i put up a little info, just off the top of my head on the website...I understand the bashing and beating you guys are shooting out...I too would be very skeptical of this...I wish we would have waited until we had the pictures and site ready, but we too get a little anxious.
If you pay someone $10 an hour for a website, you're going to have a $10 an hour website
Worse if it's a family friend, worse still if they have an art degree and no real web-skills.

Uh, this is a scam if I ever saw one.
Looking solely at the grammar skills and website, I have tremendous doubts these people are capable of custom engineering turbo kits for first gens.
Secondly, if this is all true, I suggest you try peddling your wares once you actually have them to the point where you CAN sell them.
There are just too many signs here saying AVOID AT ALL COSTS to me... sure would be nice if it was indeed true...

C'mon guys, let's not get into the grammer and spelling thing. You don't judge a car mechanic by his english skills for heaven's sakes. They may have jumped the gun a little but let's reserve our judgements till we can actually see what the heck they are selling.
yea seriously, the mechanics at the staion where i work are the biggest morons when it comes to "book smarts" can't spell ****, handwriting is aweful etc etc, but they can work on cars which is what counts. Lets give him some space.

Ryan
ps not to mention the fact that turbo1st gives TWO different e-mail addresses in this thread
I don't like the fact that they are saying that they have something that everyone wants, then can't produce.
The right way to do things is: build it, test it, market it.
Not the other way around.
I hope that they have a turbo system that works, but I also hope no one gets burned being the guinea pig.
I am still having trouble with my Cartech turbo kit and that has been around for centuries. Let's hope these guys have their **** together and fulfill the hope that they have inspired.

sorry about the name civic kid, this is not my computer. i registerd turbo 1st at my friends girl friends house. i should of waited to tell the rest of the rx world when the kit was done and ready to sell. i have many plans for this kit and they will come in time. me and my friends have been designing turbo kits for everything from s-10 to my gokart for years now. i also have two mechanical engineers helping me in the process of making these kits. the only reason why i am offering a 1st gen turbo kit is because i always wanted one and i finally got it to work and work well. if you don't like the kit or the idea i'm sorry, but it is what i always wanted and i thought you all might want it to. trust or trust me not but soon you will see more then enuff pics and time slips to prove my skills and show my worksmen ship. no one will be a guinea pig, that is why it is taking so long to make this kit happen. i want to make sure it is flawless.
