Hey, just curious if anyone is really good at telling the differences between 1st and 2nd gen. rear seats. I have a set of seats that I was told were the super rare 1st gen. rear seats but after looking them over they look suspiciously like 2nd gen. rear seats. I'm not exactly sure what all the differences are, but if anyone can check out these photos I'd appreciate any input:

They definately look like 2nd gen. seats to me.

 

2ed gen. 1st gens didn't come in that colour, 2ed gens did though.

 

Yeah that's what I thought, thanks. The back section confused me a little though because I compared it to some photos of 2nd gen. rear seats on eBay and mine looked a little shorter so I thought maybe they were 1st gen seats. Still, they weren't bolted in my car at all so I doubt it.

Are 2nd gen. rear seats somewhat rare?

I can tell you that I have that EXACT two tone color pattern (same vinyl, same cloth) in my 86 GXL. I'm going to have to agree with the guys above, 2nd gen!

They're sorta rare, not many people have them, but not many have use for them.. .see if you can find a going rate from the for sale section?
