Here is my weight reduction,
its hard to see but there is nothing back there,

you can also see my racing beat header with a dtm muffler,

if you look closely by the muffler you can also see the reinforcement steel for the rear end

87turbo2. . you can get a tII hoodscoop molded into the first gen hoods. that would be a good bet for you if you want a tmic.. i personally would say go for the fmic though. it would get a lot more air that way, as that part of the hood is a low pressure zone.

Can you get close up pictures of the louvers? How much do you want for the hinges on the top of the louvers?

Appreciate it, I'll just have to shop around for a fmic to put in. $$$$ is BIG factor. I have complete 87TII for parts. I do like the sleeper look more.
all the better to smack down honda's

your best bet might be to run low bost until you can get a fmic, and then put that in front of the radiator.

as nice as a TII scoop looks on the first gens, the sleaper look definatly kicks ***
