Hey I was there.. I met the guys who rolled up in that black FB... I didnt get a really close look at it though, has some nice polished mesh wheels, factory 3-piece spoiler, RB exhaust, ST springs, repainted black..not sure what else... look in the West forum section for more pics of that meet/cruise.
Here's some of my car..somewhat

Thank you very much! It was plenty of work to get there though! The car was resprayed a few weeks ago and is back on the road since about 2 weeks. till some minor work to do, but it's getting there
The interior is now (almost) flawless too, pictures next week. I installed good carpets to replace the badly worn ones that were in there, and another dash that is much cleaner then the old one. The doorpanels and other fabric trim is now re-trimmed, covered in the same red/black as the FD seats. That looks really good.
Right now, I'm really proud of my car, and I hope I can keep it this clean from now on...
Especially since Mariah Mode ones are very rare in Europe, and I do not know of another one in Belgium...

How did you do those sideskirts and wrap them up to the rear flares? i was going to buy the exact same fender flares and make custom side skirts just like that... then saw this car, now i REALLY want to do this.

That's a secret... No, I just don't know, that's all. I bought the car with the body kit done, so cannot tell.
When I bought the car she was in rather poor condition (cracks, drips in the paintjob, large airbuble under the putty used to mold the wing in etc... So we did a serious job on the bodywork. But I'm not sure how the sideskirts were done by the guy who did the original work on it. I don't now what make the sideskirts are either, but they are some sort of plastic, the material isn't the same as the rest of the bodykit.
I have never seen these before so I wonder who made them. Maybe they are intended for a different car and altered to fit the Mariah? I do know they blend in perfectly...
Sorry I can't help you,
Bart

I'll probably figure out a way to do it with fiberglass, but i don't know what to use to mold the fiberglass over... styrafoam will probably work.

Here's a couple slightly adjusted pics of my '82 GSL. She's not the fastest, but enough for me!

This is the '80 I was given last Summer. It was my stepdad's sister's car. She bought it brand new in 1980 at Holiday Olds/Mazda in San Bernardino.
She parked it in 1993 when the clutch got weak and the throwout bearing got noisy. It sat for ten years out in the desert before I got it.
I replaced the fuel tank and pump, rebuilt the carb, put fresh fluids in it and pulled it down my street to get it started.
I've since replaced the driver's window regulator, replaced the dash, restored the sun-faded plastic parts, installed a RB header and removed the rat's nest entirely,
replaced the clutch, tranny, and pilot bearing (the rollers fell right in my eye when I seperated the motor and tranny).
I also removed the entire A/C system, and swapped out the 80mph speedo for a 120mph unit from a '79 LE. I have a set of 14" LE wheels that I'm restoring for it, also.
The motor is the original with 160k on it, and it still runs quite well, and doesn't use undue quantities of oil. The body is completely rust-free and remarkably straight, though the paint is faded from the sun.
When I was driving my RX4, I used to say that "RX7s are for girls". I guess I've changed my tune, at least until I get my RX4 going again!

Dude, don't hate me because your gf keeps looking. I had originally posted that pic in the lounge, a place where there is actually a few women. Because the forum is being shitty and not letting stuff load right I had to use the same pic. To sum it up...I like ***** and I get it when I want it. You should have been paying attention to my car and not the pics of me to begin with, you immature asswhore!

It's in pretty pieces waiting to go on the car. No hurry anymore though. Wide Rims and Tires are expensive, not to mention - finishing the freaking car.

Can't there be 30 hours in a day?

That's a young fellow named Johnny from So-Cal. He just started hanging out with the club. Although I met him about 2 years ago and he had those clear tailights. He's since upgraded his wheels to 17" Racing Hart C's. Very nice look on that car. Very clean SE overall.
