I saw a COPS with a FB at the gas station they were at. Got a little too exicted, but can't help it. I have yet to see a candid shot of a modded one on TV though

Anybody else ever see the Knight Rider where the bad guy was being chased by KITT while he was driving an FB? Little bit of sideways action... hehe

I saw a black second gen. on the Mythbusters "Shop Till You Drop" episode where they were showing where they like shop for their random stuff. It was in a junk yard like right behind the guy on top of a pile of cars.

It is really shocking and sad to see how many beautiful, rare classic cars are destroyed for the sake of us.........the viewer. Guess it is not cool to see an old yugo blow up

there was a picture of a red gsl-se in my old geometry book!! It was so random because it didn't have anything to do with what chapter we were on. It was in a wind tunnel and had those things on it that showed the path of the airflow. I alsmost had a heart- attack when i saw it.

Usually in those cases there are two cars - one with a nice interior, and another stripped-down one they can ssafely blow without a piece of seat frame impaling someone.

I saw an Fb on Wildest Police Videos.

What made me snicker is that the guy in the background said that the car had 200 something horsepower, I snickered to myself when I saw it was a very stock GSL .

Speaking of rare cars getting destoyed, there was an REPU in "The Rock." Its at the very end of the chase sequence where Nick Cage is driving the Ferrari through San Fran. I'm pretty sure it gets rear ended or nailed in the bed, I can't remember, but it looked like it was in GREAT shape before it got hit.

You're kidding! There'a a picture of a red gsl-se in my calculas book. It talks about the rotary engine and something about how to calculate the comperession ratio or finding the displacement or something. It was funny because no one else in my class knew what the funky little triangles were for

Haven't seen much first gen stuff on the tube, but I'm also a British car junkie, and there was a show called 'Matt Huston' waaayyy back when. In the intro, every week, they showed some asswipe jumping a nice early Jag Etype (Series I, glass covers over the headlights) into a pond; you could see it ball up when it hit. Man that used to tear me UP.

Love my first gens; got three.

There are RX-7s in multiple Seinfeld episodes. First and second gens. Parked outside the apartment building.

I have seen a number of second gen cars used as stunt doubles when they want to send a porshe off a cliff after a car chase.

And do not forget about the 1st gen convertible in the 3rd or 4th smokey and the bandit movie or the 1st gen at the gas station in the howling that later has a hidden werewolf jump up from behind the seats, explain that one. What is that line? It is something like "hold your horses not everyone can afford a mazda" from the gas station scene in the howling.

Theres a FB in Pulp Fiction.
After they dump the car with the dead guy at the junk yard, they are sitting outside the junk yard talking next to the NSX. If you look behine Sam Jackson and John Travolta there is a multi-car hauler with a FB on it.
