1st gen enigne bog down
Okay guys here's one for ya:
I rencently have the 7 running on open headers. I was working ht ethe front suspension for about a month so it hasnt been started since. When starting it back up again it runs fine, loud as ****, but fine and will rev fine. However, put the motor under load and hit the accelerator all the way down and it bogs down. I have no clue what it could be. Any ideas?

I saw this post, and had to chime in because I spent soooo much time with this issue on my own car. I had the same symptoms and in my experience it was the carb being out of tune with the motor, running a bit too lean to be exact. MAke sure all the normal wear parts are good (plugs, dist., wires, clean air filter ect...) If it still bogs then knowing the carb is tuned well would be a great place to start from.
If you search you should be able to find tuning tips for nearly any application your running.
-Good luck
