1st gen cross member into an RX2???

okay so I'm looking to get this RX2 shell. It has no motor, tranny, tranny mount, or crossmember for the engine to rest on. A buddy told me that a 1st gen should fit but he nor I am sure wether or not this is true or if it would need modification.
does anyone have any info on this?????????
I just want to put in a 12A to get it running.
Thanx for any info you guys have.

Sure, it will work but it will take lots of cutting and re-welding. so the answer is NO!
