1gen 13b to 2nd gen 13bt?

Hi, my dad has a gsl se (which i may be purchasing before next summer depending on how quick i can sell my 95 tsi). I was exploring the option of a turbo and I figured it would be easier to by a turbo 2 motor then it would be to turbo the older one that is in it. I started to look online to see what the motors would cost and was surprised to see that they are fairly inexpensive (http://www.jspecautosports.com/catal...spx?prod_id=72). Has anyone had any experience with this company? Also is there a thread somewhere that i missed about putting a turbo 2 motor in to a 1st gen?

Off memory, to put a 13bt in a gen one, you need to bolt a 12at front cover to the 13bt, because the 13bt has engine mounts on the centre plate and the 12at front cover takes the engine mount for the gen one motor, thus letting you bolt it straight into the orginal postion of the gen one body.

Something to that effect.

you would need a TurboII wire harness,ECU,AFM and motor and tranny thats to do a swap then installation you can buy the rebuild and installation video at www.rotaryaviation.com its a step by step video $30 a piece.. you can also find info on the motors at www.rotaryressurection.com and www.lopezracing.net lopez does all my work havent had a problem with him yet.
