Thanks

Well do a racing pre-trip on the car, and see if it will pass.
.NASA tech form

You concern is valid and you need to focus on HR speed rated or higher tires, say fairly new ones too. Brakes, you are going to have to stop too, at least flush your fluid and make sure you have at least 50% brake pads/shoes.
Take any loose items out of the car like floor mats, spare tire, tools, cd, etc.

Have fun!

Prep the car like you were going on a long trip. Fresh oil, check all the fluids, tire condition, bleed the brakes. Check general condition of the car, especially the front end and steering. If the cars in good shape, itll be fine. Not knowing your car, impossible to answer your question. Just saw Rhinos post (Hey John!) Yea that tech form is a good starting place. Dont wreck the car, dont drive over your head, start slow and work up to a comfortable speed.

Thats a biggie, do not over drive and wreck your car. Since it sounds like your car is stock, it does not handle turning very well at high speeds.

Hey Carl, I will PM you later with intake manifold questions.

John
