hey guys i'm new to the forums really. I have had a chance to read up on this myself cause i'm at work and dont have a lot of time to search. I need a quick answering seeing as I may have found a diamond in the ruff just not sure.

There is a gentleman with an 1985 rx-7 with the 13Bre engine. He says it needs a possible fuel pump or relay and a radiator. Any Ideas on what kind of labor and parts cost this would take to fix? I fairly descent at fixing my 02 Cougar so would these be easy things to fix on the car myself?

Once again please forgive me i'm sure their is info on this but I do not have time to browse through today and I am thinking of buying the car today or tomorrow after looking at it.

The pump, radiator, and relay are easy to fix/replace. However, it doesn't tell us much. Does the car not run? Only run sometimes? I mean, it could be anything from an unplugged wire to a blown engine. It is hard to know if these things are the problem without further info.

For the engine, does it say 'RE-EGI' on top? If so, you have a GSL-SE car/engine. There is also an engine called 13B-RE out of the Cosmo (Japan car). They are not too common here, usually turbo, etc..

Yeah I'm not sure about much on the car I need to contact the guy today. This thread was also to give me an idea of what I need to ask and what to look for when I go check it out.
