1983 Misses at cruise speeds

1983 base model with no mods on the engine. I don't have acceleration problems, but its does not like cruise, highway or city. Has a miss that is annoying. The tach is stable, swapped ignitors and the tach is stable, so I don't think its an ignitor. Plugs are new, wires, cap, all new.

Carby?

lean misfires ... maybe??? but before you go and start messing with the carburetor mixture, take it for drive and then look at the plugs.

I thought of that a little. I figured when the accelerator pump is going, lean is not an issue, but when you let off, you are back to the main circuit only. Hmmmmm.....
