Got my appraisal this week....here are the highlights. Who says FB's aren't holding or growing in value??

Certified appraiser and estimate was against recent sales and comparables advertised in north america.

Keep in mind, an appraisal is a retail value estimate, doesn't mean it would sell for $9,000. You see car appraised at $15,000 listed for sale for 10-12 all the time.

My estimate of real market value if I had to sell would be $5-7000 to the right buyer

Appraisals like this are useful to justify / validate agreed value type insurance coverage. But like you say, are no garuntee you can actually sell it for that. The actual market is like the stock market and fluctates even for the high end, blue chip collectables. Thanks for posting and BTW, nice car!

That is a pretty car. Something I would consider seriously if I was in the new car market.
