1982 rx-7 gls temp oil and fuel gauge not working

I bought this car two days ago and I am having trouble getting these three gauges going. Any ideas on how to check them? I’ve tried grounding them and they didn’t budge. I now have the instrument cluster out and I’m not sure where to go from here. The car has 88000 original miles and everything on the car works so this is puzzling.
please help!!!!!! I wanna drive it!!!

the Meter Fuse is the first stop when you're checking the meters...

So I looked in there last night is there a specific fuse for those three gauges? Cause the rest of the cluster works and all the light work it’s just those three! And I’d be amazed if all three senders blew out at the same time. It sat for two years before I got it

Do you happen to know which one is the meter fuse? Is it on the fuse panel? I am new to these RX 7s. If it’s on the fuse panel I’ll test every fuse tonight If not Could you tell me where I might find it

The factory service manuals and wiring diagrams can be found here. Time to start reading and studying.

so I found the problem. There is a compasitor inside the gauge that has failed on the internal mother board of the oil, temp and gas gauge. Do they sell the chip that is actually inside of the cluster? The three circuits have resistance between them.

Mazda doesn't. If it's a capacitor you might be able to get the Farad value written on it. Post a pick. The other option would be a used cluster.

I did buy a used gauge cluster I just want to be proactive and see if I can fix the one I have if the one I ordered is bad too. Which I doubt but the more info I get the better haha

I believe the D 235 is a transistor. Go to a good electronics supply store. They can cross reference and find a replacement.
