1981 Questions,

First. I have a 1981 First gen RX7

Am i able to put a turbo on it?
>who makes it?
>where could i find one?

What would be a good new exhaust?
>who makes it?
>where can i find it?

I think i need a whole new interior...
The dash is fucked, the center console is fucked, new carpet.. seats are fine..

Where can i find stuff for this?

Thanks in advance.

Racing Beat offers good exhaust systems as well as other performance part.( www.racingbeat.com )

Vitctory British sell good resto parts such as carpet kits and dash covers(don't know about whole dashes though). ( www.victoriabritish.com )

I don't know where to get the turbo but I know some people have done it, as well as 13b turbo swaps.

Hope this helps

Here my first piece of advice "VICTORIA BRITISH" They have some awesome stuff. Good exhaust systems if your looking for some cheaper stuff. But if you have the money I would suggest Racing Beat. If ya wanna turbo your car, i'd suggest putting in a 13b. In japan they did put a turbo in a 12a, but it was fuel injected and made for it. They put the turbo 12a's in, instead of the 13b's like over here. That was in 1984.

I'll jump on the RacingBeat and Victoria British bandwagon....

Plus, read the FAQ at the top of this forum-- you'll be able to find answers to a huge number of questions just by poking through there.

And, uh, welcome to the forum!

There is alot of information about turbo swaps here. I don't think no two are the same. Racing Beat is the most well known and probably the best for rotaries when it comes to exhaust. I also here people mention Mindtrain when they talk about exhaust. you can check out Victoria British for pretty much anything you need to replace when it comes to the interior. Before you go with a turbo upgrade though you're gonna wanna make sure that you motor is up to par.

This is the FAQ that will most likely answer most of you questions
