1980 RX7 Radio Help - Which Speaker Wires Positive/Negative?
I'm in the midst of wiring my radio to an amp with high-inputs (direct from the speakers).
I'm a complete newb at reading wiring diagrams and I can't figure out which wires are positive and negative. See the diagram for my wiring configuration in my 1980. Can anyone tell me which wires of each pair are positive and negative? The pairs are
1) Blue/Red (LR) and Blue/Yellow (LY)
2) Blue/Green (LG) and Blue/White (LW)
Thanks for any help

To put it simply, as long as you are consistent with what you assign + and - for all speakers, you're fine. There are some cases in high fidelity audio where you want some drivers out of phase, but this is not one of them
If you remove the speakers or can see the cones, you can perform a speaker pop with a 1.5V battery. If the cone moves outward, or towards you, you have the + of the battery on the + speaker lead.
