I am currently in the process of rebuilding the carb on my car and had a couple questions I have not been able to clarify with the vast resources on this forum. Mainly I found this https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-archive-71/intake-carb-rebuild-how-strip-nikki-down-648376/ thread and would like to do the same style of strip down on my 1980 carb given I have already removed the rats nest in my car. So my question is, are the 1984 carbs similar enough to my 1980 carb that I can use the removal diagram as a guide to strip down mine, or do I need to find someone who knows what to strip off of the 1980 version?
