1980 choke stuck

The choke is stuck on my 1980 anniverary RX-7. It idles @ 2000 rpms. Any ideas for an easy fix. I will probably sell it to a better home this spring.

You mean the **** assy inside the car? This is magnetic/electric. Should be a harness connection for it under the dash, just disconnect. But I suspect you mean the IDLE is stuck at 2K rpm, yes? That's a carb thang. Beyond my pay grade... only thing I'd suggest is to check to make sure ALL those vacuum hoses under the hood actually are connected. esp under and around air cleaner - whole vacuum/emission system is a closed system , so a loose hose can do weird things-
If this just started "on its own" I would NOT rcommend trying to adjust the idle down via the idle screw on the dr side of the carb. Likely get you into deeper waters
Anyone...??
