1980 12A Won't Start but BackFires

This morning I changed all the vaccum hoses. After changing them the only way I can start the car is by rolling it back and poping the clutch. When I try to start it by turning the key it doesn't try to start but when I stop trying it then backfires like a shot gun. Anyone know why?

It won't unflood itself. Pull out the spark plugs and crank the engine over while they are out (get all the crap out of there). Clean the plugs off also. Put them back in and it should fire right up.

Found it... I went grocery shopping and looked at it again when I came back. A wire on one of the solenoids came loose. So I think the whole vacuum system was out of whack although it was working I have a good vacuum now. Now to the next project.. Thats was weird but like always something small can throw you whole day off..
