The turn signal relay isn't a common one like most older american cars. I'm guessing you'll need to add some load resistors to stop hyper
flashing.

"Hyperflashing is when the turn signals blink faster than your stock incandescent bulbs did. This happens because your new LED bulbs draw such little power that your turn signal relay sees the bulbs as being out."

^ Correct - it's part of a larger control module. Unless you want to do some fairly major rewiring you will have to take the same approach as newer cars with a non-editable BCM's and use resistors
