1979 rex, time for a new motor
hi, new member here. i have had a first gen rx7 in my family now since it was brand new. the rebuilt 12a we are running now is having all sorts of problems and its times for a new one, no more rebulit 12a's anymore. i was wondering how much a naturally aspirated gen II 13b goes for and how much it would cost to install, on average. also, can someone please recommend a shop that could acomplish this somewhere in southern california. a 13bt would be fine too, but the n.a. sounds like it might be easier. thanks for any possible help.
I'm not sure if Mazdatrix still does mechanical type work. You could try Jeff at rotary power. Sorry I can't be any more specific than that.
Why don't you try to get a 4 port 13B, or build one with your 12A parts (if they're still good)?
