1979 Limited Mint Cond. on Ebay

For all early generation RX7 lovers there is a 1979 RX7, Limited Edition, up for bid on Ebay. The Ebay auction number is 2424157620. Other than some road nicks and dings that need some TLC, this car is in mint condition. Photos are on line with details. I've been told by a Mazda fan who owns one of these Limited Editions that only 3,000 were made and he knows of only three others. If you like early RX7's this may be a true once in a lifetime chance to get a near classic Limited Edition, in immaculate condition. Any questions email me. The car will be available for inspection and a drive right up to the last minute of the auction.

Low mileage Rx-7's usually indicate a NIGHTMARE of problems, sitting around not being started or ran , means rusted gas tank, brittle seals etc. The car looks very nice tho Good luck.

It's two years short of being a "classic", not "antique".

So a high mileage RX-7 would be a better choice? High mileage would not have a nightmare of problems they don’t have rusted gas tanks and brittle seals just rusted bodies and worn parts. That car is a rare find, limited slip differential, special aluminum alloy wheel, leather wrapped steering wheel, shift boot and hand brake boot. Rear anti-sway bar, special stereo with amp, limited edition emblems and beat black paint only used on limited edition if still original also should have a white and red pin strip down the fenders.

It varies based on location...

In Florida, the only plates avaiable are collectible and the cut-off is 25 years. YMMV, SPSFD.

Are those the LE wheels? Those don't look like I remember them looking. On a side note, it does not have a limited slip rear unless a rotorhead like one of us went back and added one. LSD didn't appear until the birth of the GSL. Also, I thought the LE's had a really horrible plaid pattern on the seats, but those look to be the same as the ones that were in my 80. You can see the pinstripe in one of the pics, but it looks like parts of it have been scratched off. For an example with those kind of miles, the body sure looks rough if she was garaged. I dunno. If it already had a TII motor in it, I would be game.
