17x7 Wheels on SE, What Offset?

I have the chance to buy some new wheels 17x7, 4x114.3 offset 35mm or 40mm

I remember someone saying that 40mm doesn't fit...

What is the best Offset for this size wheel?

35-40mm should work...

you'll be closer w/ the 40's (like DAMN close) but 16x7 40mm fits on my car.. Granted the tire curves in just exactly where the GC spring perch juts out..

38s are the safest bet, but they're hard to find.

my car has 17" rims on it and they have a 40mm offset. 35 mm will be fine too

38-40mm is ideal.

Use this calcuator. On the tp type 6 and 35mm (stock gsl-se wheel) and on the bottom type 7 and what ever offset you will use.

It will tell you how close to the hub your getting and how far out.

It's awesome!!!
