no to hijack.... but what if we're looking for wider wheels to fill out a mariah widebody kit say 8 or 10 inch wide... anyone know where they can be found.. or is the only option getting lug adapters?

You can get almost the same wheel from sears for like $199. The only difference is they don't have the little nipples or allen bolts around the rim. btw, i'm talking about the wheels on the white/cream 7.

If you're not too attached to the alloy wheel look, http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/ makes a really nice steel wheel in all sorts of widths and sizes to fit our bolt patterns. They're light for steelies too, which is a plus.

I'll tell you what I had to go through to get 1 wheel.
When I got my 7 it had 3 boyds and a spare tire on it. The guy I got it from said he looked for 2 years trying to replace the front wheel with the 4th bodys.
After alot of searching I found one. Beleive it or not it was brand new. Because bodys hasn't made the dragstar for a number of years, les schwab was as excited to sell it as I was to find it.
The only problem was it was a 5 on 5 bolt pattern. No biggy, I'll put it on my mill and make it a 4 on 4.5 like they told me it was. As you all no its actually 4 on 110mm. I found out the hard way. So I took it back home and drill it again for 4 on 110. problem was I had an aluminum wheel with 13 holes in it now. So I bought some 5/8" dia aluminum and tig welded slugs in all the holes. I started over and now have a perfect 4 on 110mm wheel.
Went back to les Scwab to have the tire mounted and balance and the damn thing was a 16" my other was a 15". So now I'm looking for either another 16x8 boyd or another 15x8 body.
I'm running the 16 and 15 together. The O.D. of the tires is only off by less than an 1/8" but I need to get them matched.
Moral of the story. Drill the spindle and leave the wheels alone. and if you find wheels that fit buy about 6 or 7 spares, cause you'll never find'um again.
Wanted 1 Boyds Dragstar in 16x8 any lug pattern

drugblock is just a term me and my brother use to relate to where we came from. the drugblocks of humboldt park, chicago. where rotaries rule and puerto ricans show more respect to an rx anything than they do anything else on wheels........

forgot to tell you that i had to modify the front lower spring support for those wide tires. the rear ones went on with no problem.
