black rims go great with some colors.... as for me i like a rim with a nice fat lip on it.

I got the same rims as you did, the first one of 4 came in last night. I got the lug nuts for these rims, I wasn't sure about the thread pattern, but I think it's an M12x1.50, I had to guess cause I haven't taken any of the old lug nuts off to check the thread pitch.

the bigger the wheel is

the more it will weigh

the more the tire will weigh

all things equal.

reducing 1lb of unsprung weight per wheel makes a difference

but when it comes to wheels, buy what is your personal preference and needs. just show us pics when it's all done Gonzz!

No the tire will weigh less. And be cheaper.

Less rubber, due to lower profile

tires get more expensive as the sizes goes up, reguardless of rubber content

as far as weight the three tires we're talking about...205/50/15, 205/45/16 and 205/40/17 probably weigh pretty close to each other, but rotational mass comes more into play the taller you go....so basically smaller tires have the advantage
