Yeah 15" rims can fit, Ive got some on my 83 right now. you shouldnt need any modifications or at least i didnt but i have wide body fenders but that shouldnt change anything.

The real fun is finding a set of rims with the correct lug pattern... good luck though

I have 15x7 konig rewinds, work perfect no mods, and made a world of difference in drive ability and traction from the 13s. Go to the for sale section and look for a thread about konig rewinds from Hikaru, he is from JLB motorsports, good guy to work with. they also have website but it may not show all the bolt patterns so you may need to contact him.

I have 15"s on mine. I run Toyo Proxes4's 205/55R15's GREAT TIRE!! I did a bit of autocrossing and also used the same ones in the snow..very versitile.

I would go with a good hr rated 195/60r15. the 195's make the steering soooooo much easier!

in any case you must go with a XXX/55R15..if you stick with a 60R then your speedo will be off.

I have an order from discounttiredirect 15x7's running 205/55/r15's. 114.3 and 40 offset. Their system calculator said it will fit without issues and keep my speedo the same. The mazda tire calculator that you can find online also pointed out this very thing. They are to show up here tomorrow. Can't wait.

They fit without rubbing and boy does it make a world of difference on handling. Take a look at the signature picture below...
