I have a chance of picking up a set. Question is will they fit my '85 GSL-SE ? The wheels have a four inch back spacing / 0 offset. For auto-x and track days i am currently using a 15x7 wheel with a 33 offset with 225/45-15 tire. These fit to the limit. I mount my tires at the house and drive to the event. Driving on the street even below the speed limit sometimes the rear tires hit the fenders. If i get the 13x8 wheels i will be using 235/50-13 tires. The overall diameter of both sets is about the same. Also the RX-7 has been lowered and has a stock body, no wide body kit. Thanks for any INFO.

 

I'm not sure if 13" wheels will clear the brake calipers on an GSL-SE.
These wheels sound like they were made to fit the 12A bolt pattern cars. 0 offset will certainly make them protrude well beyond the fenders, like about 1.5-2".

 

Yes they will work see avatr they stick out a little but mine never rubbed 225 50 13 hoosiers
