Let us know how it works out.

well, do u guys understand what i am saying,.... that all the wiring is intact, the guy pulled it through the fire wall, and alot of sensors are actually still hooked up to the motor,..... after i install the motor, he said that i will have to just run the plugs through the firewall and hook them up to the ecu,.... then i should be good to go,..... ???

you really need to think about all the things you would need to do to get the ecu to work.
You have got to connect to your ignition switch, power has to be run to it, you have to find a way of connecting you idiot lights to it.
You need to realize exactly what the stock ECU does, and how you are going to have to rewire those functions to work with the new ecu.
I'm doing this right now with a stock 89 harness, and believe me it is NOT plug and play.

Rewiring a car is not an easy task, no matter how you look at it.

nope you would have to do it yourself. its maybe 10-12 wires, if you had both wiring diagrams it shouldnt be too hard

ECU Swap--Go For It!
I'm looking at doing the same thing with an 86-91 turbo system.
The way I see it, best method is to get a donor car and move over just about everything to the 1st gen. The 2nd gen unit has many more features and wires. I think it is possible with 90% being plug and play (sometimes that 10% can be a pita). The 1st gen ECU appears to be almost pure engine control while the 2nd gen does more.
Do like others are saying and look at functions and wiring diagrams (www.iluvmyrx7.com).
The only fear I have is that something in the 2nd gen gets moved and the wires aren't long enough when installed in the 1st gen.
Good Luck and let me know how it goes.
