13bt into 1985 gs??

Hey guys will the 13bt engine fit into my rx7 without any mods, if so, what? Also, i saw that corksport sells these engines for $850 are they any good? Has anyone ever bought a engine from them?
If i decide to do this swap how much is it gonna cost me??

This comes up rather often...

AT THE LEAST, you'll need a GSL-SE oil pan and front cover, the TII ECU, oil cooler, fuel pump, and lines to the front. If the engine doesn't include it, You'll need the intake manifolds, down pipe, header, turbo, and intercooler. You'll need to either re-locate teh intercooler or get a hood scoop to work with it.

After you break a few 1st gen trannies, you'll wish you bought a TII transmission in the beginning. You'll have to fabricate mounts and a drive shaft for that. Then if you put out enough power, you'll break the differential. With the rear drums, you'll probably not be able to stop that kind of power anyway. So you'll wanna upgrade to a LSD rear end.

You're likely to spend close to $1500 if not more on drivetrain alone.

Bump what? I think people agree with me.

Oh yeah.add to the list of mandatory components, a 12A or GSL-SE front cover.

I believe either RX7Passion has done the swap successfully and can tell you what he used.
