13b winter project shopping list (long thread)

hello all...

i've been planning on doing this for a week now and just wanted to double check my shopping list and make sure i'm not missing anything i could be doing while i'm down there...

come this weekend i'm going to start taking apart the engine down to the lower intake. what i want to do is clean up the intakes, free up my secondaries more and replace vacuum hoses, coolant hoses, rebuild the omp, replace the omp lines, replace my brake master cyl, brake pads, replace the brake hoses, steel wool and dremel as much of the chamber, upper and lower intakes to get it nice and clean looking, i might get to painting the calipers and the re-egi red in color...

so far here's my list...

gaskets - most from vicbritish others from mazda
omp rebuild kit - lowesperformance.com
omp lines - prob from mazda dealer
replace master cylinder
replace the brake hoses.

...what i need to know is if my list is complete enough to perform this task...and if i'm missing anything that i could be doing while i'm down there...

While you've taken it all apart like that you should slap a turbo on it.

Don't forget to add the Coolant hoses to the list.

Forget the dealer..... you can get the OMP lines at Mazdatrix.

Have you considered pulling out your injectors to have them tested and cleaned? Checkout LongDuck's suggestions in this thread https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=235009

Good luck!
