IIRC, Webers like 2.5-3.0psi. Flow may be your problem.

The Holley Blue fuel pump works great... so does the red.

u actually run mine at about 4.5 PSI. I know webers like to run at a lower pressure but I have fuel starvation problems if I lower the pressure down to like 3 PSI or so. Flow isnt a problem as I have a gsl-se fuel pump behind that beast.

Fuel starvation at high RPM is caused by the carb's stock fuel filter. run the carb without it and at the same time, enlarge the fuel inlet.

Recommended fuel pressure for Webers is 4.5psi.

I didn't think that you could use an EFI fuel pump with a carb?

Oh, I have a mallory return style fuel pressure regulator. It bleeds the excess pressure off back to the tank.

yes and it will NOT solve your high RPM problem. The gas is not filling fast enough due to restriction. Im assuming that you got the carb got the right fuel jet, venturies etc etc.

Terrh, with the use of a good fuel pressure regulator, any kind of fuel pump can run on a carb. As long as you can get the pressure down to 4.5 psi, then you are set.
