13b Turbo FB guys, GSL-SE front cover OMP question
so my motor is a S5 Tii, the OMP has been blocked off with plates on my GSL-SE front cover. During the assembily of the stuff inside the front cover I ran into a issue (maybe not) The issue is, the OMP driveshaft/gear, is this required if I already have it blocked? I cannot remember if I removed this off the last motor cause I did the dis assembily 3-4 months ago. ArmyofOne helped me on the assembily last night and this question came up, I was told the only way this OMP shaft is to remove is through the outside (assuming the frt cover is bolted to the iron) the GSL-SE front cover. Which still has the block off plate intact and I have not removed this.
Any input or insight you guys have would be greatly appreciated!

its best to leave it in, if you remove it you MUST block the oil passage there, otherwise the main bearings starve for oil.
i think the only way to remove the shaft is from the inside?
