13B rear counterweight question

now i know there is a difference between the weight of the rotors in 1st gen 13B engines and the 2nd gen engines, i need to know if there was any size variances of the rear counterweight.

in short the S4 hybrid engine i removed had a early 1st gen 1029A rear counterweight on it, all i need to know is if the 2nd gen counterweights work fine in spacing of the clutch disc in the 1st gen transmissions since this will have a S5 T2 engine in it with a 1st gen transmission for now.

yea all counterweights have a stamping number

1st gen - 1029A
2nd gen S4 - N327
S5 and S6 - N351

i just don't have any spare S5/S6 counterweights to compare if they are the same height. i'm fairly sure they all interchange, i just wanted to be sure.

The spacing on the counterweights are the same.

Match the counter weight to your engine, which you neglected to post.

You need the S4 counter weight that came on the auto tranny equipped cars. On the manual trannys, the counter weight is cast in as part of the flywheel.
