So is the power band on the 6 port 13b the same as the 12a? does wiring the ports open change the powerband any.... where is it recommended to shift for manimum acceleration?

the powerband starts at about 3500 to 3900. wiring the ports open will give you a little less torque in the low rpm's, but the powerband doesn't change. you should probably shift around the redline.

Max torque comes on at about 2700 and stays on until redline. That's what makes the 13B such an engineer's dream come true.

I still think my FC n/a -with headers/no cats/air filter/airpump running 5/6ports doesn't make enough power below 2000rpm though. Above 2000rpm-7500rpm is fine though. I drove a couple GSL-SE's and found the same issue. However, who am i to complain when a bridgeport 12a I have doesn't make any power below 4000rpm. But then it makes way more from 5000-9000rpm then my FC.
