13b GSL-SE and fuel

I have a 13b GSL-SE with a street port. Im working on a list of winter thigns aside from repaint and interrior. I wanna do some engine work but not a ton. Should i get a better fuel pump and or regulator or anything or is the stock setup fine? Also list some that i would need because i know theres different size pumps obviously, so name a size and even the psi i would need to run would be useful. Thanks for help and if u have any other suggestion send them my way.

IMHO I think that the Carter 195 lph pump is the best way to go for a N/A 13B FI. IIRC it is around 80 psi shutoff. I wish that I would have done that instead of the 255lph with 95psi shutoff, but I was intending to turbo the thing. Although all that changed.

I would say your OK with the stock setup, even if you have alot of mods. I'd make sure the pump screens are clean and filter changed. IIRC the SE pump has a small cone screen on both inlet and outlet. And the filter ain't cheap, ~$35.

Now if you're in need of a replacement then go with the 190 lph Carter or Walbro.

If the stock FPR is working OK, you really don't need to replace it.

The only missconception here is, Carter/ Walbro is the same pump so if you buy the Carter it will say Walbro on it. Actually it is made buy federal mogal.

Yes, IMHO is, in my honest opinion.

Same with Holley EFI Pumps. I bought a Holley EFI pump and pulled out a Walbro 255lph.

I'd like to add that the prices are so close you might as well get the Walbro 255lph.
