I read that I could use sidehousing from a 12a and turn my 84 6port engine to a 4port and that any 74-85 4port intake will bolt right up.
Doese the header flange change? I have a 84-92 NA one.
Any other parts need swapped to make it work?
My SE front cover, and waterpump housing still work?
If this is possible, I would look for a junkyard project to convert to a 4port, port, and rebuild. Put a nice 48 dcoe on there.
Thanks

Great idea.
I can't think of any problems with the conversion, other than to make sure you get the right 13B manifold to match the center housing's port height. There were at least three different early 4-port 13B intake manifolds that I'm aware of.

I will be using the 74-85 manifold from rotaryshack. Anyone know for sure it will match up? I havn't seen any Weber style manifolds for a 13b earlier then 74.
I'm so sick of the stock EFI!!!!!
