13.4@101 mph all motor on 13inch street tires

A friend of mine runs 13.4@101mph with his 85 GSL Rx7 on 13inch street tires. Mods are. 6 port bridgeport, holley 600cfm with a racing beat 6 port intake manifold, custom exhaust, ACT clutch kit and thats about all. The car has alot more in it. I'm almost sure he could pull a 12.90 on some regular street tires. Not bad for a bridgeport through the muffler. Bridgeports hate to be muffled.

keep up the good work Ito... and thanks for the final diag on my dead-*** motor.

I had to drive the bitch 180 miles the next day, and i made it without issue (well, i had to pull some fuel pressure out cause she was flooding on the highway...)

i might be droppin a s4 13b in there and slappin the dell'orto on it as an interim motor before my tII beast (allthough i think i'll just wait for the 79 chassis to be ready for that project).

i hope to get down to the shop sooner or later.

Thanks for the compliments guys. We worked on the car very hard this past year and so far it is living up to me expectations.

I am on my knees praying for a good day at the track next sunday.

Island Dragway here we come and we ain't going home 'till she runs 12's.

Wow the track's still open. The ones here closed a month ago and don't open until March. I'd like to see some pics of your car, expecially the engine.

I don't have a 6 port bridgeport template. This engine was ported by Army of one, owner of the car, with a little bit of guidance by me.
