12at project starts back up!! few q's

So i have my rx7 all stripped down, just about to get it painted (black). I am about to trade for a microtech computer lt-8. I just want to make sure i get everything right. I am not sure how to setup a standalone system, I have an engine harness for a 86 non turbo rx7 and didnt know if that would help considering this guy says he hooked his up with a gslse car, i have half the harness on the engine and transmission so i could prob. I just want to know the cleanest and most professional way to hookup my microtech. Do i need an air flow meter with a microtech?

If you want a clean install, buy a fly leading harness from microtech or build your own. Also, you dont need an air flow meter, the microtech should have a built in map sensor.

with a microtech a flying lead harness is the way to go, each wire is labeled to ease installation and the directions are easy to follow.. you wont need a afm , since the microtech runs off map..

That really depends on your preference, mounting location etc. Izuzu NPR intercoolers are pretty stout and cheap. They also hug the stock radiator pretty well.
