Since we didn't get the 12AT but the Aussies did, I'd have to concur with REVHED. Even the S4 turbo wasn't a T3 pattern. I do believe that one of the aftermarket turbo systems for the 12A was a T3, but not the OEM one.

Yes, the 12at used a standard T3 flange on the factory turbo.

S5 turbo is a T3 pattern, S4 has it's own unique pattern. Both turbos are Hitachis but not interchangeable

This is getting confusing. lol The S5 turbo is definately not a T3 pattern.

It appears the 12AT might indeed be a T3 so I stand corrected. I couldn't find definitive proof though.

The S5 turbo is not a T3 pattern. It has a larger footprint. The S5 turbo mounting stud pattern measures approx 3.75" by 2.375"
The 12at definitely is a standard T3 pattern and the studs pattern measures approx 2.375" by 1.75"
I'll take a picture of both an S5 manifold and a 12at manifold side by side later and post it.

Yes, that's a factory 12at exhaust manifold. There aren't too many of those around these days.

I'll stand corrected as this is what I was told and thought is was odd at the time.

Here's a picture of the S5 manifold next to the stock 12at manifold, The S5 flange is considerably larger.

If you are using a Nikki, you can use one of the stock 3 barrel intakes from a 12at to mount it on and it will clear the turbo. With a little work, the Nikki 4 barrel carb will work on it pretty well.

Do you have a genuine 12at distributor?
