12a upgraded fuel questions

Hey guys, I'm close to finishing the project and need some fuel help.
I have a dellorto 48 sidedraft and a holley fuel pump. I'm running 5/16ths send line (closest I could find to stock, or should I get bigger?) and I need to know if I can run a return line from the fpr (i dont have it yet so I dont know) .
I'm getting the holley 4.5-9 psi but still not terribly sure if its the right choice, and yes I searched the forums and got every answer under the sun.
So, people who are running this setup please post pics and some info!

Also, I am going to run an Ito Streetport, fyi.

You can run a return line with a different fpr, the Mallory 4309 is a popular choice. The fuel pump will last longer with a return line due to the extra fuel flow cooling the pump. I'm running a Holley Blue and quite honestly should have bought a 70 gph pump, the 110 gph isn't needed even for the 1/2 bp.

Ok thanks!! you can obviously put a gauge on that regulator right? anyway, I got the pump for really cheap so I didn't worry about it.
btw, summit says the 4309 is a return style. that just means is has a place to hook up a line to route the excess gas back to the gas tank right? Sorry about the lack-o-knowledge.

id get the holley 1-4 PSI regulator. youll get your best results around 2-2.25 psi. the stock pump runs around 2 psi. the stock pump works fine for a dellorto 48. im running a dellorto 48 with the stock pump.
