she runs amazing at WOT. Its in the 12s to 13s for AFRs tho. I'm told that its due to my carb bonnet poor design. I did it myself and no realize that it should have the air enter at a 90 degree angle to the carb throats so the air isn't rushing though the carb and therefore not pulling enough fuel through. also apparently my hat isn't big enough. so i think i have way too big of main jets in it just so it doesnt run lean. its only at 7.5-8 lbs now off the WG spring. plan on 14-15. 10 deg timing dizzy locked. so i have a little bit to play with. I have no numbers but i took it to the street drags up here and was spanking the **** out of everything till they told me i was in the wrong class. so i raced a turbo 3rd gen supra and turbo civic and waxed them spinning most of the way... it was less than an eighth mile tho mostly for fun... however i won my class.

Thanks! A LOT of customizing here thanks to my dad and mom and friends too. I need to get more pics like my custom 3.5 in stainless exhaust etc. You really think i need an Air air oil cooler?? my coolant temps never even get 1/3 up the gauge and thats whats cooling the turbo and beehive oil cooler. Also i will not switch to an electric fan... not as efficient for cooling. And i don't plan on water meth injection unless possibly i go EFI which i might if i can't get this bitch tuned better ahha

Its a carb.. 47 OER Japanese racing carb. Supposedly was boost prepped but leaked from every orifice when i boosted it. i got that fixed so thats ok. its kinda a pain to tune right now tho mainly because of my flawed design of my carb hat i guess.

yeah im sure you can. i dont know but you might have to get that carb boost prepped so it doesn't leak under boost. otherwise i dont see why not?? I'm by no means an expert here tho

Its a GT35R from Turblown.net Elloit is awesome helped me out a ton and was always there to answer emails or phone calls. he made my mani and downpipe too! i believe its a 1.0 AR turbine i think the inlet is approx 63mm?? that sound right? Then engine is a rebuilt streetported motor. i think basically stock internals. I got it from rx7engines.com or something like that over 4 years ago.

Very nice. I'm in the process of putting my car "to bed" for the winter season. I'll be doing more research over the winter to see about going Turbo.
How do I go about doing a 'turbo prep' on my Mikuni 44mm PHH carb? Do I need to un-install it and take it some where?
I'm also changing out my Centerforce II clutch since it's starting to slip (about 25 years old). Any suggestions as to what to go with or should I stay with the Centerforce II? I guess 25 years on that clutch is not too bad.

Im not sure with a mikuni... mine was supposed to be turbo prepped but it didn't seem to be. basically what you have to do is seal off any areas that gas can get to that will be pressurized from inside the carb. normally they wont leak because there is the same or less pressure inside the carb when the engine is running. with a blowthrough the inside of the carb is pressurize d more than atmospheric pressure so fuel tries to find ways outta there for lack of better terms.

I have a centerforce dual friction clutch with a stock tranny for now... it never slipped once till i pt the turbo on... then i baked the **** out of it rip shifting from second to third. i didn't resurface the flywheel when i was in there because i didnt know any better at the time.. that was about 4 years ago... however i took off the small inspection cover on top between the engine and tranny on the bell housing and while idling i sprayed brake cleaner in there with the straw slightly bent to get it on the otherside of the flywheel. i had my dad push the clutch in and out as i did this to get the dust gunk grease what have you off. it seemed to work for now... i know that is not recommended and that you shouldn't spray that stuff on the clutch friction material but i raced it after that at the street drang and the only thing spinning and slipping was my tires... hasn't slipped since. Overall i like the clutch and think that i would never had a problem if i had ngotten a new flywheel or resurfaced it...

What's the price of a Centerforce II Clutck kit cost down there? I would be interested in bringing one up.
