All that on a stock motor? How much boost do you plan on running w/ this set up?

Run the turbo oil return to the front cover just below the mop. There is a perfect spot to tap there, can't miss it.

The reason they do that is you can't put the fitting high enough in the oil pan for it to drain into air and not oil. If you drop the pan, you will need to drop the center link, and unbolt the motor mounts. Use a hoist and lift the engine up a few inches for the pan to clear the oil pickup. If you have the engine out allready, now's the time to do it. Sounds like you are on the right path. If you are using a FB front cover, there is a recessed place in the passenger side below the OMP. The SA cover you have to guess where it'll be right.

why spend all of that money for only 160 hp? you can nearly get there with carb/intake and exhaust, then if you want more, just add no2

ok bud...i'm gonna break this to you as easy as i can before some of the other guys come in here and burn you...

first off... what you're doing is called "thread jacking"... meaning you didn't start this thread, and you chimed in with your own question... this is not taken favorably usually.... so there's your first mistake

secondly.. since you've already opened the can of worms we might as well as answer it... if you're even REMOTELY considering forced induction and you're asking a rudamentary question like "will a turbo blow up my motor?" then you DEFINATELY need to hit the search bar at the top of the page and get some education.. this topic has been covered hundreds of times and there is an unbelievable ammount of information already posted... and to answer your question more appropriately ... ANY poor tunning whether naturally aspirated or forced inducted will blow your engine up..PERIOD...

RANT OVER!

and for 12aKid... my only peice of advice may be THE most important...get a wideband... it's the only way to safely tune your carb and it'll save your motor.. i personally like the AEM UEGO unit...great price, and it's not over engineered...just what you need for a carb/turbo set-up..just weld the bung into your downpipe and do a couple 3rd gear pulls to redline and check the a/f ratio then tune to constant 12:1 or as close as you can get... and keep us posted on the project...
