I thought that was the main difference between the 13B and the 12A, the rotors were different widths. I mean, I guess it wouldnt matter if the center housing was larger than a 13b's though.

Well, the rotors on a 13B are 10 mm wider than on a 12A. So, if you figure the center plate is the same width on both engines, then center to center on the manifold should be 10 mm wider than on a 12A, which is less than half an inch. That's actually not too bad to modify.

I'm on Percocet right now, so if I'm not making too much sense, that's why.

yep, grind each hole in 5mm. then oval in the exhaust holes a good bit to help the flow. THEN, remove that POS arm/actuator assembly built in to the manifold (if you get an s4 one) and weld the hole shut and port it out where the flange is a bit. THEN, on the actual turbo grind the inlets to be of equal size and PORT THE ******* **** OUT OF YOUR WASTEGATE. see references on my website. woooot!

I think I'll just buy a cheesy ebay knockoff or have somebody around here weld me one.

I wonder where I can buy a blown 12A locally.... I know there's a junkyard nearby, but god only knows if they have FBs.

you'll spend more money on the cheesey ebay knockoffs cause those are still made for 13b's. so you'll pay more for that and still have to modify it. you can get stock tII manifolds all day long for around 20 - 50 bucks.
