hey room i have all the pieces to build a custom turbo kit, but one stipulation....where the hell can i get a exhaust manifold that will fit a na 12a ? i would like to use a turbo 2 turbo...i just need to know what i could do about the exhaust manifold....thanks for any info

 

You can use a 13B Turbo Manifold with the bolt holes ovaled out.

What does this "cutsom" turbo kit contain? I ovaled the holes ona 13b mani but did not do a very good job and the thin metal that is left cracked badly. My solution that is working much better: I took a 13b mani, cut off the ears (with the mounting holes), welded on a 12a header plate I got from Racing Beat. This spaces the turbo just perfect for a weber wrap around style manifold.

Oh I will have pictures posted tomarrow of my set up!!!

I think Sam at Atlanta RX7 has a 12AT manifold.
You'd just have to contact him and see.

He had some 12AT's come in their awhile back. Not relly what he likes though. He tends to do a lot of 1st gen stuff, and a lot of 2nd gen N/A stuff, since he has a part yard full of them.

 

Those imported 12A turbo engines came in to Atlanta through "New York Block Exchange". Give a call to information to get the number- they are in GA. They might still have some motors or turbo bits left over.

Not sure where Sam brought them in from. Might have been NYBE. I live right behind it. Would be good to check NYBE and NAD also.
