you will have to convert it to carb blow thru style. might as well just turbo your 12a if it's in good condition. call rotary shack and he'll tell you what will best fit your budget. he's helped me alot. i'm just slapping a turbo on my 12a like coldy13 did. WOOT

well the good thing about that swap is that the block itself will bolt right in. Hell, it might even bolt to the factory exhaust!
The problem is that you'll need something to run that engine. You could try putting in the stock 12at ECU, that wouldnt be too much work. It be similar to putting a GSL-SE system in your car.
You could go aftermarket like haltech or something too.
But let me tell you, rotary shack is the best polace to get **** from. Rob kicks ***!

yes, if you can afford it go stand alone, but from what rob says it's a hassle trying to use the stock ecu. basically because you really cant even get it anymore. he makes them blow thru pretty much once a week. yea, rob fuggin rox!

i think my car would be worth alot more if i had that motor in it, and the motor i got now is only 90k drivin by a old lady who was the original owner till i got it, she only drove it on weekends.
then i would have a 90k 12a in backup

no need to change it to carb style. it will bolt in as it is. you will need to upgrade your fuel pump and lines if you do not have a gslse. and also need a fuel controler, and front mount oil cooler if you have the water style .sugested upgrades would be a intercooler. t2 turbo s5, 2 1/2 inch downpipe and exhuast or better. you can get a used fuel controler for around 200 or build a mega squirt controler.
