After scowering the net I simply can't find a speedo cable for my 83 12a rx-7, and I was wondering if the cable from a 13b fb rx-7 would work in my car. In the mean time I have a sheet of paper on my dash with rpm and gear combos for all the speed limits in my area (thats one for the "You know you a 1st gen owener when..." post.)

 

I think I have an extra speedo cable. I can look and see what I find. I know the GSL-SE cable is longer that the regular one. I would think it would be ok as long as you have it mounted ok and the cable doesnt make too sharp of a turn.

I looked and do not have one. However, if you need a different hood release cable or a choke cable I have those lol.
