Hi, I am trying to figure out what size bolt fits into the hole below the oil filter. I am running an SA oil cooler and need to plug this hole:


It seems to be M10 diameter. I have tried M10x1, M10x1.25 and M10x1.5. They all go in a couple threads but then stop. Any ideas how I can plug this? Thanks

 

i think i remember reading that it's some kind of weird (JIS) thread.

why not just put the pressure sensor back in it even if you don't plan to use it?

 

I did not realize that was for an oil pressure sensor, thanks. Unfortunately, I bought the keg without the sensor

The size is 1/8PT

 

The SA never had an oil pressure gauge.

 

Is it NPT or BSPT?

FYI the sender is still available from Mazda. Not sure if you have an SA or not...
