12A N/A BP Guys

How many miles are you getting on your BP between rebuilds? And what are the modes of failure? Looking to build an N/A 13B from a 13B-T core & I can't find ANY info on N/A BP's.

IIRC doing a full BP would almost require you to use 1pc carbon apex seals. Carbon seals don't last that long. 20-30k tops. Depending on the port-job the water seal may not last as long. The bridge in extreme cases has been known to crack as well. Other than that, the power will wear things a bit faster, but there is really no escaping that.

I'd expect 20k and anything more that that I'd consider a blessing.

usally the first thing that fails on a bp is the carbon apex seals ,,, they go for about 10k ... on a hard daily driven motor.. i think racingbeat says they are good for 5 k
